Turns out you CAN make ~$1500 a month working at home for Google. Sort of.

There’s a company called Leapforce which contracts out workers to do search engine evaluations for Google. They’re the ones that make sure relevant pages are sorted towards the top.

Base pay is $13.50/hr, which is not bad at all. It’s great for someone like me, who just wants spending money while I’m in college. The only downside is that you can easily end up working <20 hours in a week, depending on the number of tasks you are able to grab. Most reports I’ve read, people say that they usually end up in the range of 20-60 hours in a week.

They can also terminate you at any time, for poor performance. And it’s a 6 month contract, which they can opt to renew or not renew based on your performance. They let you track your performance rating for each task, though. So it really isn’t a surprise if you get the boot.

It’s not a career path by any means, but I’m a college student who lives with my parents - it’s all disposable income.

Things I will probably buy with my monies -

Makes me want to do that as a side job, do they care what hours you do it?

I could see myself working on this stuff from like 830-1130 at night, especially over the colder months. Talk about some Montego monies

Most of the assignments are during the day, but there are some at night and quite a few on weekends. I put that I was going to work between 10-20 hours a week and I got the job. I think they have a minimum number to keep yourself signed on, but it’s probably in that range.
